“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
🙏 A Prayer of Refuge and Strength
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today in humility and faith. You are my refuge and my strength. When the storms of life rise against me, when fear whispers in my ear, and when uncertainty surrounds me, I choose to run into Your presence.
Lord, You are my hiding place. Your Word declares in Psalm 32:7 (KJV),
“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”
Father, preserve me from every seen and unseen danger. Surround me with Your divine protection.
In moments of weakness, be my strength. When my heart feels overwhelmed, remind me of Isaiah 41:10 (KJV):
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Lord, uphold me today. Strengthen my mind against anxiety. Strengthen my heart against discouragement. Strengthen my spirit against every attack of the enemy.
Father, I declare Your promises over my life. According to Psalm 91:4 (KJV),
“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”
Cover me, Lord. Cover my family. Cover my home. Let Your angels encamp round about us.
I take refuge under Your wings. I trust not in my own understanding, but in Your mighty power. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Every plan of darkness is canceled by the light of Christ.
When I feel alone, remind me that You are near. When I feel weak, remind me that Your grace is sufficient. When I feel afraid, remind me that perfect love casts out fear.
Father, be my fortress in times of trouble. Be my peace in chaos. Be my strength in weakness. Be my shield in battle.
Today I declare:
God is my refuge.
God is my protector.
God is my strength.
God is my deliverer.
I will not fear, because You are with me. I will not be shaken, because You are my rock. I will not be defeated, because You fight for me.
Thank You, Lord, for being my safe place. Thank You for Your unfailing love. Thank You for Your constant protection.
I rest in You.
I trust in You.
I hide in You.
